We’re thrilled to announce that our next New Washington event will be headlined by two of the greatest figures in Washington business: Internet and sports titan Ted Leonsis, and behemoth SAIC’s new CEO, Walt Havenstein. Representing very different sectors, they’ll bring to life the top trends and opportunities the region’s business executives face today, and discuss their own philosophies of how to be successful whatever your industry and objectives. Walt has just moved the corporate headquarters of his $10 billion a year top defense contracting firm here after decades in Southern California; and Ted is fresh off of the publication of his first book, The Business of Happiness: 6 Secrets to Extraordinary Success in Life. As a bonus, everyone in attendance will receive a free copy of Ted’s book, that he’ll sign right after his talk—and you can keep on schmoozing while he does so.
